Terrible news. I think we need to play an extra midfielder to protect this back 4

On the face of it, a decent plan.
Some reservations that the ref's likely to spot a 12th player, but nothing ventured, nothing gained I suppose.

Bring back the lad from Tranmere? I'm sure he used to be a good defender?

What’s that got to do with Joe Wright?!

Maybe “one a big lad who used to be with Man City”? The post is useful to know the size of the players we are up against, that they come from top class footballing heritage and that one of them has a rather horrific personal story...although not relevant what his skin colour might be.

Aye, er no he wasn't anything special. That's why he got shunted into midfield.

How sure are you? I seem to remember he was slow, had the turning circle of a cruise liner and positionally left a lot to be desired in the back line. I'm still having nightmares about his display in the 3-1 defeat at Fleetwood.

Is Blaney still out on loan? I expected him to may be pushing towards the bench at least if he’s not on loan anymore.

Also that Horten looks like a big lad. Maybe try him on the left side of centre half. Btw I know both are young but surely they’re making some sort of noise. Best time for youngsters when there’s injuries and suspensions.

Horton went out on loan, signed a loan deal last night at Gainsborough. I work with the assistant manager there.

Harry Middleton signed for them last week and had a stormer at the weekend, as it happens.

You should start a campaign to get Middleton back mate.

Mason with Blair at right back, at least we would have some pace.

Didn’t notice that one RedJ. Not sure who else could play there then.

I believe the rules are such that he can still play in the Checkatrade next week if needed.

Don't even know if we've announced it tbh, I only know because as I say I work with the Trinity assistant manager.

Probably could play in the FLT though as it's not a senior fixture.

Fair one mate, yeah I think you’re right though. He can play in the FLT

I'll raise you 0-4 at Peterborough for your 1-3 at Fleetwood. Mind you, it wasn't just McCullough that day who was terrible, it was Butler as well.

I was at that game too and frankly everyone was terrible. We should have lost 10-0, our defenders didn't have a clue how to play in a back three - understandable as it was less than a week after Ferguson took charge.

Hi Vicar. It's a pity you do not practice what you preach. Surely a man of the cloth should not change the subject to suit is own agenda.
