Total cock!

How does Anderson get a yellow card for taking studs to the head?

Blookpool should have had a ted card when wilkes turned the last man

Agree about the Wilkes incident - deliberate foul when through on goal should have been a red card.
I was close to the Anderson foul and although he was caught by their player, it was only after Anderson had rugby tackled him.  It looked like a yellow card to me.

I've seen a lot worse recently. I thought the booking for Anderson was harsh, but he got a lot of other things right. Not many people will know it, but once he'd tried to play advantage on the Wilks foul he could only issue a yellow.

I thought he got little help from his so-called assistants. There was an instance in the second half when the East Stand assistant had a better view of the incident (corner or goal kick) than the referee but failed to make a decision. They could have also done more to stop Blackpool's habit of creeping up the touchline at throw ins.

I said exactly the same last night RB.
They were pinching 5 or 10 yards every time. The one exception was in the first half west stand corner. The ball went out next to the flag and their player moved back five yards.
I shouted for the Lino to watch them but he just let them do as they wished.
