I know it was against a much lower league opposition but how good is Herbie Kane seriously??
The bloke has everything!! He has a bright bright future. Unbelievable player week in week out best on the park.

I wonder what odds you would get for that. One thing for sure is he won’t be with us after this season. Fantastic talent

Probably pretty slim given he's appeared at youth levels. I certainly wouldn't bet against it - given it's his first taste of senior football his performances are even more remarkable.

Said to my mate last night he will play for England one day. Compare him to Mason, who did well for us and went on to play for England, but Kane is better.

I wonder what the Preston fans were thinking when they had a certain young English midfielder on loan early in the 90s..?

He is good no doubt but he has some stiff competition. If he continues to develop and gets the chance to pit his wits against and with better players time will tell. He's now started to add goals, perhaps he feels more free to have a go but either way, if he continues to contribute with goals now and again on top of his all round play, he will become a very valuable asset to someone!

Saturday will be a decent yardstick for him; Barnsley are a very good team; it will be a huge test for him, as it will for all the team.
