Sacked Martin Allen this morning. Not sure what this is going to mean for Kiwomya and Beestin but you would imagine they are among better players in that squad.

Oh dear they seem to be a club in crisis.
Have to say though I am amazed how their support ( gates ) have held up this season.
They average around 4.500 which must be very encouraging for them.

Martin Allen is a football dinosaur. The total opposite to McCann so I was surprised that we were helping him out with Alfie and Alex. I notice Kiwomya is injured and Alfie has only made sub appearances thus far.

I said after that result rolled in yesterday that he'd be sacked before the New Year. I remember someone, might have been SM, saying on here two years ago that Chesterfield were facing potential crisis behind the scenes. They were in League One at the time. Fast forward 30 months and they are facing the very real possibility of dropping into the National North. Madness.

I hope Kiwomya and Beestin are heading back here to reassess their options for January, I believe they only went to Chessie because McCann knows Martin Allen.

Barnets manager has retired.

You know what that means.

Could say Martin Allen's was "Justin Thyme" and inspired his retirement "upstairs"

if he does go back must now be setting a world record for managerial appointments at the same club  :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Dead right Alias, and just look at the players who were in that side 30 months ago; Euan Doyle, Sam Clucas, Sam Morsey, Jimmy Ryan, Gary Roberts, Gnanduillet; and the manager was Paul Cook.

What an unbelievable reversal of fortunes.
