If Sheff Weds don't scrape through tonight, I reckon this will be the first time in history that we'll be the last Yorkshire club left in the Cup. Anyone confirm that?

Reckon we were one of the last 2-3 Yorkshire clubs, who all got knocked out in the same round in 55/56, 81/82 and 09/10. Can't find any other examples although I've not checked every season.

Middlesbrough became a county borough within the North Riding of Yorkshire in 1889. In 1968, the borough was merged with a number of others to form the County Borough of Teesside, which was absorbed in 1974 by the county of Cleveland. In 1996, Cleveland was abolished, and Middlesbrough Borough Council became a unitary authority within North Yorkshire.

Regardless, if we get 'Boro or Newport at home this will be resolved. We can be the last Yorkshire team standing.

Absolutely correct. Yorkshire played there regularly and the Second X1 have played a few games there recently

Also a T20 Yorkshire v Durham was played there last August - and THAT is good enough for me !

Isn't Copps from Guisborough which is, indeed , in Yorkshire? I know Yarm, which is South of Middlesborogh, have been campaigning to be let back in and leave Teesside, which is where Boro is now.
