Im so deleriously happy I am going to give the Ref 3 Points - he is usually a clown but did not fall for much today

He rightly booked the bloke for the 10 minute throw in - that took b***s I had to admit and then followed it up with a second one when the same bloke dragged Wilks back just to slow him down slightly - and enable him to be chopped down ! Yellow Yellow Red - dead on

The third goal again was a triumph for him. Asked if we could carry on he said "yes" and we scored.

So he was not perfect but good enough for a 3 !

He had already warned a Peterbro player on the East side for taking an age over a throw in.

A three is good from me today.

He also had the balls to issue the second yellow after the foul on Wilks, something that refs often don't do.

That was a bloody hard game to referee and I thought he did it well. I've never been a fan but I take my hat off to him today.

lets just say I was pleasantly surprised,  I looked, thought o dear but he was better than he normally is

4/5 from me.  TBH he got all of the big decisions absolutely spot on and surprisingly I saw only a couple of others to get worked up about all game.  A solid 4/5 (on that basis, I don't know how any ref could get a 5/5 out of me)

I dont know how this one ever gets more than 0 from me ever as usually he is very poor but as I said above - Ive eaten my humble pie - given him a Three - which is my version of 4 (which nobody will ever get)
