I remember him scoring a superb own goal at OBV in the late 80’s/early 90’s when I think he was playing for Cambridge? Lobbed his own keeper. Sublime.

I'm not too sure Dion would have appreciated Sir Alex saying that, Rob. I can remember Linford Christie and Jimmy Greaves being on a sporting chat show a few years ago; Greavesy told Linford how much white women probably loved watching him running in those tight lycra outfits that showed everything. Linford immediately rebuked him, accusing him of "stereotyping the black man".

Greavesy was horrified; he probably didn't realise that things had moved on since his youth.
