You have to realise that it is a town full of deprived residents. Many of them haven't even experienced a good old traditional day out at the seaside.

It’s Blackpool they’ve been treat unfairly by the their owners. Anybody else going into to receivership they would be docked points. But it’s poor little Blackpool

Blackpool’s idiot fringe will be in full swing fora while because the majority have finally got what they’ve wanted for so long.

Most disgusting ones amongst them are those threatening violence to the handful who’ve kept watching the team over the past few years.

At the end of the day, it’s football. There’s more to life and people should be able to spend their money however they like without OTT morons having a pop at them.

Maybe they view the handful who have continued to support the team as scabs.

And maybe that's no f**king excuse to act like bell ends towards oppo fans who are bringing money into your bankrupt club

Totally agree, and they have obviously forgotten the support we gave them a couple of years ago.

They were just a bunch of moronic teenagers.
A small percentage are only there for agro and are not real supporters of the club.
Some of them probably went to their first match on Saturday!!!

They haven't forgotten though, Christine and others at the Blackpool Supporters Trust have always been complimentary of all the support they've received, including ours.

Really don't get this whole thing about the Blackpool owners being bad.
They are in league 1 doing well, what's wrong with that?

No where near our level of bad owners with Richardson.

f**k em, moaning gets.

Looking at some of your comments on other threads there are quite a few things that you don't appear to really get.

Looking at their lot last night I’d say the Oystons were doing them a favour keeping all the cretins away.

Possibly.

It doesn’t give them the right to threaten violence though.

There’s more important things in life than falling out over bloody football.

Completely agree with you but surely you can see your own hypocrisy?

Does wanting to win give players the right to threaten and execute violence?

There are more important things in life than hospitalising a fellow pro over wanting to win a bloody football game.

Not going to quote your post, Rigo, as seeing those sorts of quotes in quotes makes me head spin, but...

A couple of days you wrote:

“I remember once at Mansfield we went down to Wimbledon actually and at the first defensive set-piece, one of our defenders treads on Akinfenwa's ankle that's been iffy for a while. The big boy's struggling, gets subbed off - all of this being inside the first five minutes, and their attacking threat suddenly doesn't look as threatening anymore. And we won 1-0, three points closer to safety, job's a good one!”

You specifically praised a tactic that is set out to injure an opponent, because it resulted in your team getting 3 points.

Again, can you not see any hypocrisy there in what you’ve said above?

They'll be on the One Show tonight, and they'll be getting the plaudits they deserve. As most of them are heavily involved with the FSF I'm pleased they got the outcome they've striven for.

Won 1-0, tactics worked.

In an extreme example, stamping on Akinfenwa’s foot might have resulted in him breaking it. He could have then had complications in his recovery, loss of blood and had to have it amputated. If we’re going down the really extreme line.

Or, he could have also been pushed back to play too soon by his own manager, and following another week or so off, could have played the next game.

With Morgan as I’ve said countless times, I don’t think his actions were deliberate. That’s how it was!

Look at how many times opposition players have targeted Jack Grealish for rough tackles as well. If he gets injured in one, he could be finished, but it gives the opposition a better chance of winning.

Tactics that aren’t quite conventional happen all the time. It’s no different to shirt pulling, time-wasting or a few other more common ones, and it’s down to a strong referee to cut it out.

Some players will play a certain way, some teams will play a certain way.

You can either moan about it and feel victimised 24/7, or wise up and becoming more streetwise like I actually think Rovers have done this season compared to last.

There’s got to be an understanding that when players are ‘in that zone’ on the pitch having had it drilled into them all week that this is the be all and end all, certain forms of skulduggery may happen.

Of course it isn’t the be all and end all, but I can understand why they feel that way given the pressures, demands, money, egos and everything else in professional football.

It’s still down to a strong referee to stamp his authority on the game though. If he’s weak, players and managers will dictate the game!
Have you ever thought of watching rugby league instead of football?
It might just suit you down to the ground.
Shirt pulling, grabbing legs etc.
