I think Barnsley may have their bad period about now just when it matters, I can see them falling away and leaving us to play Portsmouth or Sunderland, and them playing Charlton.
The biggest risk is whether we make the play offs

Bad run or not we still remain undefeated in 20 games Selby .

Despite the draw on saturday I thought we looked a bit  more like ourselves and played some very good football .

I was disappointed with the result but performance wise we were perfectly fine .

Sunderland have to play Peterborough away , Portsmouth , Coventry and Rovers at home , they will drop points .

They may find themselves in a game on Saturday at a rejuvenated Rochdale , we will see .

All we can do is keep fighting and picking up enough points .

Word on the street is that Kieffer Moore may be back in a weeks time which would give us a boost , just a whisper and not official , he's trained for the last two weeks and saw a specialist yesterday , we will see .

If it's the play offs then so be it , the team is resilient , difficult to beat and coached by a German , they seem historically to be able to turn adversity in to a friend .

I think we will just have enough to get the second spot , mightily close mind you .

I'd rather play Barnsley, I think Barnsley are better than Sunderland but I wouldn't fancy going Sunderland in 2nd leg especially if they got a positive result at our place with how big they're crowd is. Where if we had to go Barnsley in play offs would fancy us to take a following like we used to there and be able to proper get behind the team.

I think it's worth pointing out where we are as a club and something you guys can take confidence from , not that you aren't confident enough that is and quite rightly too .

We as a club are under tremendous pressure to get back to the championship at the first time of asking , every bit as under pressure as Sunderland , Sunderland are a bigger club with greater media exposure but our pressures are exactly the same .

At least 6 of our first team squad will want away should we fail this season , Davies , Cavare , Pinnock , Lindsay , Moore and Mowatt are refusing to talk to us over new deals until they find out where we will play our football next season .

It's likely Pinnock , Lindsay and Davies will leave in anycase as all three are capable of attracting the attention of the big championship clubs , Pinnock could in my opinion join a lower ranking PL club , Burnley , Watford , Brighton for instance .

Our club operates on a two year cycle in real terms , all our players are signed under 24 years of age on 3 year deals for the most part .

Year two is where it gets interesting , if they shine by year two they leave for a substantial profit , if they don't they are either offered a new deal on similar terms or moved on and as much of our money back as possible .

Bradd Potts shined in year two and was sold to Preston in January for 3 times what we paid for him , George Moncur was a bit iffy and was moved on to Luton with 75% of our money back .

We don't let contracts run down into year 3 , this is because we were bitten severely by the loss of Connor Hourihane , Andy Yiadom , Joss Scowen , Marley Watkins and Sam Winnall who we had to let go in January 2017 for knock down fees or for nothing that summer .

We were as you know relegated the following season as a consequence .

So in order to keep the nucleus of this promising squad together we have to get promoted back to the championship and deals will be massively boosted in order to keep players here , to the tune of £6m across the squad I'm led to believe .

If we fail we are back in year one territory , massive recruitment spree , new squad etc etc , year one is problematic for us historically and that's likely to manifest its self in yet another inconsistent season by design and another year in league one .

We simply must get promoted or we are at a massive risk of at least another two League One campaigns to navigate .

Banter aside, I think you will finish 2nd, and hopefully we can follow you up through the play offs..

Interesting synopsis there, tyke, particularly your estimated budget figures. Just shows the levels of commitment that need to be made.

All I can say is good luck in the run-in and, personally, I hope you go up automatically. The pressure on Sunderland will be immense and I think we could take advantage, that’s if we in fact make 6th.

I’d like us to finish third beat Donny home and away and lose in the playoff final in a ideal world, and exactly the same next year and every year until I die, unfortunately I reckon we’ll go up.

With Groundhog Day dreams like that, I'd prefer you keep your nightmares to yourself and your therapist.

A rerun of this season next season will be a lot better than what Rotherham have had this year which is all we’ve got to look forward to if we do go up.

Yeah but that is always likely to be the case for clubs of our size.
I find it odd that you don’t want want your club to be promoted though.

The problem with that is that you never get to enjoy beating a much more expensive team thinking that you have no right to be on the same pitch.
There's no point competing if you don't want to go up.

What position does Tittle-Tattle play?
There’s too many double barrelled names in football these days.

Just like following Wall. The fun that can be had after seeing two bob Millwall beating big time Charlie, PL wannabees is great. We should be beating the likes of...blah, blah, blah.

Best players injured. Dingles will go back to their usual Hoof ball tactics.
