Sunderland rail travel problem

Just to let people know that the Metro line from Newcastle Station to the Stadium of Light has works that day.
It will run to Gateshead then there is a replacement bus service for a portion of the journey.

Allow another 30 minutes.

Should still be able to get the normal rail from Newcastle to sunderland

Luckily we don’t need to be over there until 5.30!

If you can't do it that way then there is a local business service to Sunderland from Durham the number 20, 20A and takes about 40 to 50 mins from the bus station. A 5 mins walk from Durham train station to the bus station then a 15 minute walk from Sunderland bus station to the stadium.
