Interesting that 10 of the 11 on the pitch at the start are Rovers players and only one loanee. First time this season?

Strange one that with Downing on the bench. Wonder if he's not 100% fit or may be tactical?

No Whiteman in the squad then so not worth risking.

More of the same please with early goals. Go for the jugular!

He is good at it, I agree.
Funny though isn it that when he first came to us he was accused of being like Bambi  on ice and a no nonsense get it forrad type of defender.

Big day today, Peterborough might struggle against Gillingham, beat Bradford and we have a nice buffer before Easter.

what's even funnier is that folk always try to turn a positive into a negative, God theres some miserable bar stewards on here....

Even funnier tho is that his first game, he was truly dire, but folk seemingly arnt allowed an opinion, that may or may not change over time.. ..

Glad to see Anderson back, for me hes the best bringing the ball out from the back.

when harry maguire was at Sheff united they said he turned like an oil tanker - it was a period when center halves were not allowed to bring the ball out of defence -- but we know how he can bring the ball out of defence  and what is he now

Ps. has Anderson got any better looking as well  :chair:

are you having a pop at me? I used the phrase bambi on ice for his first game, which I strongly still agree with.  He was absolutely pants. The worst debut I've seen in many a year. That said, I can accept work rate , effort and change, and for me to has shown more than enough of improvement to be considered a first team starter at present.  Let's put this to hed shall we, he was shit then, he isnt now..

Fairly even so far - both sides had chances. City hit the post and Crawford hit a 20 yard shot just wide. We can definitely go up a couple gears.

Not a shot on target, but dominating the match. I hope this is not one of those "it got away from us" matches.

Bradford are trying to do what Wimbledon did and target Marquis. He’s getting kicked to pieces and yet he got a yellow. Ridiculous.

Basically Bradford are trying to kick us off the park here. Leaving feet in, seeking to get our lads booked. Doyle in particular is trying to tell the referee how to do his job.

The referee is dire by the way. He is missing a lot and seems utterly inept.

Anyway - half time. Bradford are bloody awful. A team of absolute cloggers. If we get a goal they’ll fold.

A forgettable first half. Quite scrappy with City probably the more likely to scrape it based on the first half in all honesty. We need to step up a bit in the 2nd half. They are a terrible team and trying to wind up our boys. However, If we keep our heads and play football rather than get involved then we’ll win.

Watching it on Skybet EFL, and imo, as good as Wilkes was against Wallsall, he's been equally as bad in this game. Not tracking back, losing the ball in possession, too slow in releasing the ball, and not troubling Bradford at all. They are all guilty of giving the ball away too easily, and Grant needs to get them to step the tempo up, pass the ball quicker and more accurately. Of course, you just know the bottom bloody club are gonna step their game up when playing us, and that's just what Bradford are doing. Typical.

53' | John Marquis - already on a booking - 'dives' after colliding with Nat Knight-Percival. Free-kick City but the Doncaster avoids further action.
