All a big sham though isn’t it?

Captain Fantastic. Multiple trophies. World class players.

What was it about the multi-billionaire owned Manchester City that attracted you to the club Vincent?

One of the premier league greats. A outstanding centre half.
Genuine shame he’s had so many injuries but he’s still had a fantastic career.

Fair play to him, a 3 year deal is very good for him even as a player manager. Even if it goes tits up he is gonna be sorted financially.

What a way to bow out though winning the treble, and how important was that rocket of a strike at home to Leicester in his final home game?

Fantastic captain and a trophy cabinet to prove that.

Similar to Butler, not in terms of quality obviously. They’re players who may not play every game but are leaders who you want in the dressing room. Personally hope we keep Butler and think City should have kept Kompany.

He's already sorted financially. He's been giving his salary away to deserving causes in Manchester all this season.

Vincent Kompany is one of the greatest defenders ever to play in England. The guy is absolutely superb and also comes across as a thoroughly decent chap

Did he? Sheikh Mansour took control of the club on 4th August 2008, Kompany joined the club on the 22nd after a quick google.

I believe you're wrong there, recently read a book that said they took over in september after robinho had signed as a sweetener for the deal. Vincent was there by then. Just!
