Download films and tv shows

I’m going to work offshore in the next week for a month and without access to WiFi can anyone explain to me if it’s possible to download films and shows to an external hard drive and if so how do I do it thanks

Do you know how to download them to your laptop? If you do, then just plug in an external hard drive, copy the files over and there you go. All depends on what tech and skills you've got at your disposal. PM me if you like as I know things like this can be a bit hairy for people who run forums.

I think he is asking how to download films and then save, what site to download from in the 1st place  I used to use movie box but that has now stopped, any other recommendations?

I think if you have Sky you can download and watch abroad now, I guess it depends where
