Meeting of the Drfc N Ireland supporters club

Had a first meeting today with my fellow DRFC supporter(and Bangor resident) Dutch Uncle. Good chat about life and experiences of DRFC.

Will meet again in the future.

Nice to know the club has loyal support throughout the UK.

Could do with the club having a bit of a pre season tour across here

What other areas of the UK can say they have a mini supporters club

Great to meet you Phil and indeed we must get together again soon. Maybe we can meet up with Draytonian III next time he is over. And I know we have a few supporters south of the border as well.

Maybe GM can be persuaded set up that pre-season tour - that would be great.

Cheers gents. There's a few of us down here in Dublin too. Pre season tour would be great. Problem down here is that we've the summer season so we're mid season during the off season in the UK. I'm involved with my other team shamrock rovers though and know exactly who to talk to about a prospective friendly. Would likely be Shamrock Rovers u19s during the summer though with the league and europa league qualifiers.in full swing

That would be brilliant if the club could get something. Living in hope. We should try and arrange an Emerald Isle DRFC meet sometime or arrange a mass exodus to the Keepmoat

I have friends in Waterford that were planning to go to Wembley if we had beaten Charlton

Such a shame I’d have been travelling myself today to meet my sons to travel down tomorrow

Won’t need it next season automatic

That’s at least 5 of us on the isle plus all the others in Dublin mentioned by Ye Aul Tavern. Could be into double figures
