Would you have him as our next manager after he was sacked as Birmingham boss

Yes but I highly, highly doubt we'd be able to afford him.

Yes he would as seems to be familiar with getting sacked.
Swansea, Leeds, Boro, Birmingham all in 3 yrs i think.
Hull will sack him or more likely he will walk out on them before they do, having realised they are a club at present on the slippery slope. That’s if of course he gets that job.

Why should we assume we can't afford him. If he drops divisions he can't expect the same level of pay. All speculation of course!

Don’t think Boro come in to that category Vicar.

Leeds are now stable, Swansea are under fairly new owners so that leaves Birmingham who are one of the worst run clubs in the country and have been for probably around 10 yrs.  They sack good managers just for the fun of it. Pathetic basket case owners who imo quite frankly do not have a clue.

No, to a point, you don't want someone too disruptive.

What I prefer is someone with success, and his is limited at multiple clubs.

Don’t you think the board will won’t to place an advert in the Sun, read one or two of the  applications discard the spoiled ones , take a couple of weeks to muse over then ask them to take a lie detector test before given him or her the job . Let’s face it the applicant may have a lot to consider, there’s the fact they may not have a striker or decent midfielder or the loan signings carefully negotiated before hand from Rangers and Arsenal at great expense may not now happen  or the fact you’ll  only have experienced  goalkeeper or ask them not to consider why the previous man left as the afore mentioned  shouldn’t be a worry  !

Do you not get bored of posting the same negative trope every single day? I am genuinely starting to wonder what you actually get out of "supporting" Doncaster Rovers, because it doesn't appear to be any enjoyment.

You have been a fan for about 50 years now, according to your username, so surely you appreciate that we have had far, far worse times than this?

It comes from 50 years of the same old s*** happening to us and never getting used to it as it seldom happens with so much regularity to other clubs as it appears to happen to ours .

Really? Look at the consistent nightmare clubs like Bolton, Bury and Notts County have experienced the last few years. I think if you look at it, we have had consistently solid ownership and stewardship over the last 20 years, ever since John Ryan took over. Bramall & Watson have continued that, we are a financially stable club who have progressed immensely in that time period and are a completely different prospect - for the better - now than we were in 1999.

There are many, many clubs in the EFL, and indeed now out of the EFL, who would give anything to be run as well as Doncaster Rovers.

It’s a club that is run well but will either standstill or decline in terms of football. We are not a club that will progress. Have a good season then don’t build on it, dismantle playing squad in stead of building on playing squad. Asking managers to improve position yet losing out on players they really want and bigging up players we bring in. So yes the club won’t fold it will continue to play it’s part in the football league. But players or managers who have ambition will move on to pastures new.

In context your correct , but rebuilding isn’t what fans won’t to see when everything goes tits up and backroom staff depart as well , which seems to happen regularly.
