I’d say you want to be betting with Victor Chandler not Sky.

Wellens has done nothing above average so far. Meh, ok at Oldham, Meh ok at Swindon. There are dozens of managers out there with better credentials than him (and probably temperament).

There's a few on that list that don't stand a chance.

Wellens
McCall
Cowley
Campbell

Richie Wellens not interested
Darren Moore yes
Michael Appleton possible
David Flitcroft no chance
Chris Houghton yes but there’s no chance
J F Hasselbaink not done enough for me just a big name
Simon Grayson yes
Stuart McCall not for me but I’d suggest he’s in the running he was last time and wanted it
Danny Cowley is not going to leave Lincoln for rovers.  Lincoln fans love him
Sol Campbell did ok last year. I’d say yes to him

I’d have Saunders back

Saunders? Can’t stand the man and he’s a bit of a ‘Walter Mitty character’ if you ask me.

Not sure on the Cowley brothers either as they are bit too route 1 for my liking.

Me too. In fairness to him he has a 40% win ratio from his 312 games as a manager.

Still young and hungry to succeed, fits the clubs criteria. I wouldnt touch anyone else on that list except Chris Hughton but no way will he drop into league 1.

No way will Hughton end up our manager. Not a chance. He has same problem as Moore albeit at an even higher level which may explain this - Brighton fans at end were at loose end due to dire quality of football.

What’s everyone’s obsession with Moore? He has done absolutely nothing as a manager and doesn’t fit the job specification.

WBA fans were not happy with how DM was dismissed but virtually all complained about the awful football under him even when it did get results.

Very surprised that no one as yet has mentioned ex Rovers favourite Glyn  Snodin. Highly reexpected as a Coach I understand. Regards. Ray

For me, winning has to be everything. It really doesn’t matter to me how we do it. I have never attended a Rovers match with the expectation of being entertained, and I never will. I would be as sick as a seaside donkey if I leave a game described as the best ever but having lost 5-4. On the other hand having just watched a game described as turgid and truly awful but Rovers having won 1-0, then I will be thinking: “Great stuff; roll on the next one”

It all depends of course who applies but, I understand Appleton is a very good coach but I don't know enough about his man management.

Moore. No experience of wheeling and dealing at this level but maybe a good man manager.

Grays on. Not for me as I don't think he comes across well and his teams seem to reflect his monotone voice.

Snods, same as Appleton, good coach but may prefer a no 2 role rather than the head honcho.

Campbell. I doubt he's got the depth of contacts and experience we need.

Chris Houghton (would be great) perhaps he might look at us and think I can take this club somewhere. Prob not tho

Andy Butler back with Michael Appleton assistant for support. Pay his contract and get him back. Another one with rovers blood in him

Wellens and Moore. Ex players. Got passion

Totally agree. The team that won the League at Brentford were terrible to watch most of the season, but by God they were hard to beat. They just refused to roll over for anyone, which is why they won so many games in injury time.

Apart from the fact I forgot he was in the pooh I don’t see why Saunders was described as been “silly season”.  He’s better than some of the other bafoons being mentioned
Saying that after what he did I hope he is in the pooh big time

Wellens
McCall

Not sure about some of the others either apart from Grayson, who is a serial promotion winner.
Been in charge, along with Glynn Snodin, of three different clubs that have won promotion to the Championship.
Surely would be the favourite if he applied.

Why would Graeme Jones come here when he's just been appointed manager of Luton?
Wouldn't want him either.
Tainted by his 'association' with the one and only Ken Richardson.

I think people need to quickly realise that there’s zero chance of somebody like Chris Hughton coming here. He’s a respected Premier League manager and people mentioning those kind of names are only setting us up for disappointment. It’s unrealistic for us, and for every other club in our division and at least half of the championship.

I’m confident we’ll make a good appointment from the significant pool of managers that will realistically be interested in what is a very decent opportunity.

Not Richie Wellens. I don't mind most of the others in the top 4 or 5, but not Richie Wellens. Why he is favourite beats me.
As a player he had an attitude problem because he felt he was a Premier quality player stuck in the lower leagues. I don't want the mardy 4rse here. Appoint him and I despair and things just keep on getting worse.

Snake-in-the grass McCann has probably already scuppered our playoff hopes leaving us in a mess.
