Any rumours about the phantom list of players that GM and GB we working on to get signed before he left?

By calling it a phantom list you insinuate there wasn't one at all. But there was, and it now makes sense to hold off on signing those players until the new manager is in place. He should have his own ideas and players, which will affect discussions which have already taken place.

A list with nothing on it is not a list. So why is it you believe we had no targets, when we already signed three? I’m a bit confused as to what the point is here. Clearly McCann’s list of targets is of reduced significance in the absence of McCann.

He’s the type of person DRFC and others should be looking at. Proven ability albeit at a different level rather than a big name/ex player who knows the club

Whilst I tend to agree with this, another view may be that the club has a clear strategy whoever the manager is and players like Middleton are part of that strategy so as a club we can still make signings.
