Who will make this their breakthrough season.
I think both the young fullbacks Branden Horton and Danny Amos could be pushing on this year.
Lirak Hasani ,Rieves Boocock also look like they will be there or there abouts.
It's a long time since we had so many very good young players coming through.

Danny Andrew was horrific that game, one of the worst individual performances i've seen.

Yet when he signed him on again he said he would haveyear at U23 level then by end of this season he would be ready to fight for the first team. Yet in matter of weeks he’s ready for the first team. Having watched U23 last season I would say is a big jump of faith in him. But if means saving money and not challenging for promotion then it will be ok. None of the U23 side is ready for promotion winning team. Maybe odd one in odd game.

As far as my understanding of this board and its values goes, one of the ppositives about what they require of whoever they appoint is a valuing of developing our youngsters. That's part of the thread of community and growth of the club as a whole, not just a boom and bust approach to haggling our way through the leagues. I like it!

I think it was more his hand was forced with the new regulations, as we have to use more kids in the squad, but let's give him the chance and see how he goes.

Always looks good warming up.  Obviously this is not the same as a game. Hopefully preseason he will get a few run outs and we can all judge for ourselves

Let's see what the new manager and the budget brings, if we are short of what they want to spend then the younger players will have to step up. The only problem with young players is their consistency, but it worked with two young payers arguably being the stars of the season, it would be nice if they were ours rather than from other clubs.

Don't hold your breath about young players coming to the first team club must have one of the worst records in bringing young players into the first team and then staying there
