E) Contracts are quite long and take time to read/amend
F) The manager will need to be properly unveiled at an actual press event, likely needing a few dozen people to pull together. You can't just unveil a manager by scrawling DARREN MOORE on a post-it note and sticking it on the Alick Jeffrey Way sign.

Its possible that good applicants have other options that they're considering or have been invited for interview elsewhere. DM has experience managing in the bottom end of the premiership and the championship. Maybe thrown his hat in the ring for Newcastle, a club operating in those areas?

I’ve heard from someone within the club we offered it Moore yesterday and he was given 24 hours to decide.
The other 2nd interviewee was flitcroft so could be worth a bet on him.
