Just watched this, a good watch on how it was in 1998.

Another one

Thank you for posting this link. I've just spent a fantastic wet early evening watching this.
It made me home sick. I spent most of the time saying to tiddysmum "can you remember him or her" pointing to people in the crowd.
Thanks again.

We all are, we would not be a club let alone where we are now or in resent years with out SIR JOHN RYAN. Now we look forward to more success in the years to come

You beat me to it. Just going to say watching that again just brings it home what JR did.
Without him we might be a Northern Premier league club now at best.
If Anton Johnson had got hold of us i dread to think what would have happened.
He like Richardson would only have seen us as a property deal.
Thank you JR a man with a vision who made that vision come to reality

For all those who moan at us as a club with little ambition i despair at you.
We have Doncaster people running the club who care about the community the club represents and they will never put this football club in financial peril.
We now have one of the BEST run clubs in the country and a club which is well respected throughout the country.
Do you think Darren Moore would be here now if we had little or no ambition.
Not on your life would he be.
Onwards and upwards.  :rtid:

I was watching the video and I was still willing them on even though I knew the outcome.
We were awful on the pitch too, I had nearly forgotten how bad that it was and I also dragged my son along to the games.
There's three generations of us now that enjoy going to the keepmoat and can't believe how people moan about the facilities, I'm still humble.
