Really not a big deal. Lots of clubs have leadership groups now as opposed to a single captain.

 Darren Moore has already said he is still considering the question of captaincy NOT that he had nor even thought about it .More than fake news the opening poster is simply emptying onto the forum his negativity . However for those who share his low opinion of the professional acumen of Darren Moore I suggest listening back to football heaven or checking out his recent interview on DROS .

Someone asked who’s gonna be captain and what do you look for in a captain and will it be copps or Ben Whiteman.

Darren said he hasn’t decided yet whether to go for a club captain or a team captain.

Then he listed what he wants from a captain things like honour loyalty passion for the club and the community, he knows copps has be club captain for a while but he says that all 11 on the pitch should be individual captains.

For me a captain armband just is someone that talks to the ref and says heads or tails for kick off.

If any player doesn’t have the qualities that DM has then I doubt they will be at drfc for long
