Shirt prices

£30 for a shirt for a baby and doesnt even come with shorts this season  was going to buy two new kits but will now carry on using old ones.

And how long have we been charging £45 for adults?? Give ST holders a 10% discount and then put the prices up over 10%.

Still, the club shop was busy and loads queuing to pay so maybe I'm just a bit tight!!

football kit has been overpriced for years, even down at our level. I'm still wearing the freebies that were given away to season ticket holders several years ago. Not actually bought one for years. Nowt wrong with being tight.....

Don’t buy them?

Fine for kids - bit suspect for anyone over 18 to be wearing them, let’s be honest.

I bought a junior 2015/16 shirt on eBay for my 4 year old grandson for £2.99 including postage. He’s 4, as long as it’s red & white hoops & has the Viking badge on why pay more?

Surely it’s up to the individual. I agree they are overpriced but you have a choice

I buy mine sometimes when they're on sale especially for my daughter who is nearly 1. I got her the home shirt this year was just wondering if anyone had the 12-18 away shirt from last year but they ran out of stock end of last season

My daughter was a month old yesterday so thought I’d go down and buy her her first shirt, toddler shirt with 4 letters and 1 number on the back £45 absolutely scandalous. There’s no way I was going to miss the right of passage of buying my first child their first shirt but it’ll be a long time til she gets another at that price, Jesus Christ.

Im in the same predicament MD!  Dying to buy my one year old her first suit of arms but it is so much money for something she will have grown out of in 4 months time...won't even last her the season

When I was in Switzerland last month, a kids shirt for Young Boys (Bern) was 130CHF or £104.

So yeah, Rovers shirts aren't that bad a value.

Exactly same situation for me. Crazy prices but people pay so clubs will continue to charge these prices.

Switzerland consistently is one of if not the country with the highest cost of living globally. Even given that, over £100 for a shirt!!

Context is important though. Median UK salary = a touch under £29k, median Swiss salary in 2016 but using today's exchange rates = £60k.
