Amazing finish wasn't it? The diagonal run into the box was superb as well. I saw him try it a few times, obviously worked on it in training.

Pure class, he has a great natural eye for goal, a cool head and a fantastic execution skills - so long as you toss him a piece of silver.

Copp's assist equally as good.

That shot by Gomes in the second half was class too, just squeezed out by the block.

Just seen it.

My God, when is Coppinger's standard ever going to slip. That half feint that won him two yards of space. Delightful. You can hear the cogs turning in the three defenders' heads:

"Alright, alright. He nearly turned us but we've got back goal side and cut off his opti...oh f**k!"

Great movement and finish. Quite like Saidler as a forward.

Well, Sads was put there yesterday to score and did. Quite a strike.

Great move. Shame a lot of the time till niall Came on we had a big centre forward shaped hole up front.  Exciting times tho, judging on the 2nd half...

Yes it was a brilliant goal (and i don't please easily) copp's pass and the movement was like in American football the way Sadler faked like in American football then ran into space

The timing of the goal was superb too, especially as the group in front of me who have to disrupt everyone to get in the refreshment queue missed it

I have just watched the highlights of the Portsmouth game, low and behold, Marquis, in exactly the same position as Sadlier was in for his goal.......

...................... It was even an identical shot but Marquis fails to hit the target,

............................Not a good day for Marquis.

We won't score many better goals this season. If we do - we're in for a good one

Watched sky last night.  Suarez scored a similar goal for Barcelona and they were raving about it.  Nowhere near as good as Sadlier
That’s 2 great goals he’s scored.  He got one last season just can’t remember who against

He also scored the absolute screamer that stopped almost dead on the pitch for him 20+ yards out like a free kick against somebody else (at least I hope it was him now I've said it).

Interesting on Sadlier, Saturday was his 7th league start, he's been a sub 8 times.  Now has 4 goals.  Good return that and could be a key player if he can keep that up.
