The Rovers back four played well yesterday and to single one of them out and rate him as a 4 was indefensible not to mention piffle.

Yeah I thought 4 was a bit harsh. 6 would of been a lot better for him.

4 slightly harsh, more a 5. Regardless of if he’s new to the club/league, theres no point in sugar coating it, not good enough for a promotion chasing team. Plenty of time to improve though.

It's 4 more than Alfie May got who Holden appears to have forgotten was on the pitch.

Sounds like Liam Holden, despite the name, does not know an 'l' of a lot more than Liam Hoden

Who did he give a 4 to? Halliday? Very harsh given the opposition and the performance overall by the team and way the team defended..

Funny how the media see it, with no loyalties the FL paper gave him and James 7, and Anderson and John a harsh 6 to my mind. So an observer with no Allegiances saw the full backs and most of our team as a seven except those two  Coppinger and May as a six.
Ennis was an 8 match star man.
           ITS A FUNNY OLD GAME.

I’d seriously ask the question if they were actually at the game, with those scores. The 2 cb’s were outstanding for us!

I value Hodens ITK insights but always think he comes across as arrogant with his replies to some Rovers fans.

I don't think the FL Paper ratings are even based on having seen the game, though I may be wrong. It doesn't sound like it based on those numbers anyway!

Here in France the sports paper L'equipe hardly ever gives ratings above 6/7, most players are 4.

Last night PSG won at home and their average rating was 6.3.

The other Sunday they had a picture of Nial Mason with Alfie’s name under as top player.
