Was saying to the guys I watched it with earlier - it'd be nice to see wales beat South Africa too - two home nations in a southern hemisphere tournament final would be some achievement! I know it's not really southern hemisphere but surely it counts? Lol

That was the best performance by an England team since the last time we played in the World Cup final for me... We were absolutely superb, the end result didn't do justice to the performance!
New Zealand the number 1 team in the world looked nervous, panicky and never settled at all because we didn't let them!
Superb!

So good 88 it's hard to imagine they can repeat or improve on it but that's what the ABs have been doing for ..... well almost ever so I'm hoping for a big one come Saturday, go England.

Keep the ball moving and South Africa won’t live with us, get dragged into rucks and mauls and we’ll find it hard going

From what I have seen so far, England at their best are better than SA at their best in all areas.

You never know what will happen, as NZ showed against England with a poor display (for them).

The Wales didn't knock off SA but I'm hoping they can give NZ a bit of a touch up in around an hour's time. Wales deserve a win following good form in the 6 nations and it would be a fitting end to Warren Gatland's reign, they have to turn up though cos the ABs will be waiting with intent.

Wales are getting a bit of a hiding and I don't see them turning it around at present

And they just kept on turning, it was far from error free but they played at breakneck speed and blew the dragons away I'm afraid.

The way that NZ saw off the Welsh makes you realise how good England were in the semi final.

We’ve been sucked into South Africa’s game here, we need to be better at handling and moving the ball

What a load of garbage. Give me Rugby League every time.
South Africa not even got near our line. Winning 12-6 HT. Just penalties for technical infringements you can’t even see.
Looking forward to a proper game this afternoon.

At least three of their penalties came from England’s unforced errors leading to scrums then penalties.  Lost a line out in a great attacking  position and then threw a pass straight into touch near their 22..

Not a patch on last week.

Technical infringements indeed but Farrell done for holding on in front of posts yet SA bloke caught by Itoje held on twice as long when isolated

Ref not consistent

How does the ref see all these infringements.
It’s penalty after penalty. If this is entertainment you can keep it.

Game set & match.
This has been awful. Wouldn’t believe same team that beat New Zealand.

Now I’m not up on the rules of this game, but how is that annoying little t**t Faf De Klerk not penalised for delaying putting the ball into the scrum everytime, he waits until the scrum is about to collapse and then puts it in and wins a penalty

England have only themselves to blame, far too many mistakes..

Opposite of how they played vs NZ.

I agree but thats a bit of gamesmanship and the ref should have been awake.
