Last five home games - won 3, drawn 1, lost 1.

Unbeaten in last 4 home games.

Our albeit limited record there is very poor.

Our albeit limited record there is very poor.

Played 2 lost 2 down there but not sure how relevant it is given they were under former managers and we’re a very different team now:

Their recent home form looks good but...

Of the wins, one was a bit of a smash and grab against Pompey with a 93rd minute win, one was an EFL trophy win against League Two Leyton Orient (a convincing 3-0 win, mind) and the draw needed another injury time goal yesterday to snatch a point against Lincoln.

They’re still one of the weaker teams in the division, so as long as we prepare for the game properly and play to our usual standard we shouldn’t have too much to fear.

Exactly Wolfie, it will make the PvO prediction a bit of a lottery.
I am not convinced that DM will put our best side out for this game.

I would want him to. Playoffs is by no way guaranteed  with top 10 most realistic so a good cup run would help keep some excitement in the season. Need to stop fannying around with it at the back though as there's no way Wimbledon will let us get away with it

Would be very disappointed if DM didn’t play a very strong side. In fact the strongest that is available to him.
If we are not going to take FA Cup seriously then i despair quite frankly.

We are hardly overrun with games at the moment so I expect he will put out a first team.

yes for that charlton match 3rd round facup last season i changed my selection from Dismal Defeat to win at about 5 to 3 when Charlton put the reserves in
that draw was the worst we could have had  - and there was no way Rovers were getting anything til the switches

fact is "it turned out nice" as they Charlton are now in the Championship they are slowly dropping from their "nosebleed" position to scrap against the trap door

but they missed out on Charlton v Crystal palace in the later rounds as well

If we put out our best side & match their attitude & commitment we win the game, anything less they will turn us over. Hopefully we can progress & make a few more quid like last season & use it to improve the squad & get a few over the line come January.

I don't see any reason why either side wouldn't be putting out their best team to progress in the Cup, especially with each having enjoyed the benefits (financial / team spirit / fan enthusiasm) of a good run last season.

It's a tough tie though, and I tend to view Wimbledon as a ground we never fair well at, but then as NickDRFC points out up thread, as each visit there has been under a different manager that shouldn't have any relevance.

We were woeful there last season although had JM not gotten sent off by their gamesmanship we could well have won.

Don't expect Dieng or Daniels to play as their clubs probably won't want them Cup tied.

I agree about Daniels because I am guessing he's here to get fit and will go back to Luton in January. Dieng I thought was here for the season? Although DM seems to like to rotate his keepers in Cup competitions, so Lawlor might play anyway.

Otherwise, I expect it to be a very similar side to the one that started last Saturday.

Dieng is only here until January at the moment, as are Daniels and Sheaf.

A little too early imo. Probably decide Thursday / Friday

Crowd likely well down on normal gate so would say yes (for their Fans) and maybe for ours

You could order from Box Office and collect at the Ground I would imagine if that helps

For what it’s worth I’m going - picking tickets up at the ground. Might take my big flag !

There were only 3000 plus fans at Charlton last season for the cup tie with us. I can't see Wimbledon getting above 2000 on Saturday.
