Rovers not taking chances, Wimbledon get one and score.

Good morning everyone. The FA Cup and prize money for the club, let's go as far as we can. Wimbledon won't be an easy game, but at our best we should win it.

I love quotes like this. On what basis should we win it. You have to earn the win, its not won on paper ergo we are 1-0 down and not playing great at all

Sounds like we switched off at the worst moment, just before the break. Three good chances go begging especially Thomas and now we've got an uphill task.

Would you describe a one goal deficit with half a game to go as an uphill task.?

So we have most possession most shots on goal yet they score typical of the front four we have must be improved but with players injured then we can’t do it.

Totally agree mate. Piggot and Appiah have always given us trouble; and Wordsworth, Pinnock, and Wagstaffe are all decent players.

We've not lost yet, but people shouldn't count their chickens.

Away to AFC Wimbledon, yes it may well be,they are a bit of a bogey team for us at their ground, having said that, hope we can buck the trend in the second half. :scarf:

Glad to see Danny Amos given a start , now's the time for him to take his chance and claim a regular spot.

i hear so much about him being a good crosser of a ball let's see what he can put on Thomas's head
So three chances Taylor missed goal. Thomas heads at Keeper great cross from Danny Amos and Sadlier hits it straight at keeper

second half plan as above !!

funny that all the teams in this league beginning with the letter "A" seem to be at their ground !! as in Accrington

As if we needed reminding - we are short of a clinical striker. Can it be underlined any more before we get to January?

Players missing from the back four and their goal described as us switching off? Is there any wonder?

I'll take a draw , we need to be in the hat on Monday.

Worse possible scenario. Our backlog of fixtures is becoming horrendous, and is seriously threatening to derail  our push for the top 6.

But we have no match for 2 weeks, so a replay Tuesday week might not be a bad thing

Ipswich 1-0 down at home, they have definitely lost then. Of course not, neither have Rovers, every chance in the second half, Rovers playing the better football in the first.

53' CLOSE. James Coppinger shoots just wide after an excellent ball by Sheaf put him through on goal. 1-0

Do any of the front four know how to score and hit the goal would help. Copps shooting wide Taylor shooting wide.

I take your point Dutch, but Tranmere are losing at the moment, and Shrewsbury are drawing. That's worth a thought.
