When Saturday Comes

Sorry to read today that the half decent football publication is in the financial shit.

I have fond memories of the golden age of football fanzines and I used to be a regular reader of WSC. So, I've decided to reacquaint myself with it. It is the only football magazine on WHS shelves that isn't in a cmplete thrall to the Premiership. Apparently they have hit the buffers since they decided to refuse gambling advertising, their hearts are still in the right place.

Not bought one for some years.  I may have to restart.

I've bought this magazine for over thirty years. Humorous without descending into a comic (high in photos, short on content) like Shoot and Match did. The Pre-season and Tournament previews are always a highlight for me.

I've got the complete set that I've now digitised into pdfs. If anybody wants any back issues I might be able to help.

Make sure you buy the one that comes out next month. DRFC fans may find it of interest...
