My Euronews spy (the only way to find our how Europe is falling apart "allegedly" is to watch programmes like this) told me plans about Italy introducing a minimum wage .... which rang alarms bells how the fcuk have they got away without one. They also mentioned the Venice flood defence scandal *

amazingly the  following EU member states have no minimum wage
Austria
Cyprus
Denmark
Finland
Italy
Sweden

you suddenly realise the secrets of Europe that are kept from us  BST might know this but very few others

Malta is shameful and the former Soviet countries explain a lot that we kinda guessed

* a bit about the flood defence scandal

"Venice has spent more than $6 billion on a flood-barrier system nicknamed MOSE (a reference to the biblical story of Moses’ parting of the sea). That project encompasses a system of steel gates along three inlets in the lagoon that would be lifted during tides that reach higher than 3.6 feet above sea level. The project that broke ground in 2003 and initially had a 2011 deadline, would have provided protection from tides up to 10 feet tall. But it’s over budget, behind schedule, and beleaguered with a corruption scandal. Former mayor Giorgio Orsoni resigned in 2014 and was arrested along with other officials accused of embezzling millions of dollars in funds meant for the flood barriers.

apparently the steel or whatever was substandard and rusted or something like that - yes we have heard that one about substandard concrete before when buildings collapse
