I saw this article about the Meadowhall trial;

Seems like a good idea to me.
Lets hope the new government see the benefits as well.

Its hell of along line cos at one point it reckons the tram train runs from  Sheffield to Rochester

  Doncaster rate payers have been paying for the Sheffield tram service since its inception, good old labour council policy paying for something that does not run in your town.

Totally agree extend it to Donny Airport that might piss a few more dee dahs off cos Donny can make a go of an airport and they can't   :lol: :lol: :lol:

Unless I misread it - unlikely as I didnt really read it - I was sure the Nottingham one has been a Tram Train years ?
