Go on. Someone has to say it.

I thought he was excellent in his cameo performance today.

Don’t go there. Let’s hope he’s trying to impress a future employer.

He is still no good, what about the diving header almost in front of goal, and it almost went out of a throw to them

I'd still swap him for Lionel Messi.

If he was a new signing and had come off the bench and put that performance in for the last 15-20 mins, we'd be purring.

Good positional play, won his physical tussles. Laid the ball off well. Made good runs and topped it off with and excellent finish.

Played well. Great finish...whilst I don't personally rate him at the moment I would love to see him keep impressing.

Lots of players take time to settle and develop let's hope he's gonna be a star.

Quite right. But if DM has given him the opportunity, he's got a chance to prove himself. It's up to him to take it between now and the end of the month. A shrewd bit of man management may pay dividends for us even if he doesn't make the grade.

I don't rate him, I made a joke about him on Twitter before he scored. But I'm happy to eat my words and I hope he keeps scoring.

We can't slate a player for being crap then be disappointed when he scores. What more do we want? Surely it is for these players to step up and show more and contribute to the team. He has done that today. Fair play Rakish.

He could be a keeper based on his performance today.

I wonder if DM's tried him out in't nets?

Cheltenham town fans think the same as us, or some of us. When Alfie signed for them they said what good is May if he is behind Bingham in the pecking order

Put it this way.

If you could expect that sort of cameo from him every game, it'd be stupid not to keep him.

There was something about him in a couple of late sub appearances when he first joined that made me think he could do us a job. If he CAN, that would be a big bonus.

Should also add that just before he came on, while he was warming up, Moore walked down the touchline, put his arm round Bingham's shoulder and was talking very animatedly and pointing things out in our left attack area.

I'm liking Darren Moore more with every passing game. Lord knows what he said, but I'd bet it wasn't unconnected to how we scored our second.

Fair play to him today. Was sloppy at first when he came on but was a brilliant goal. He’s certainly not the answer though and I’m sure we can get better. See how he does for the rest of Jan tho and hopefully he pushes on.

Never went today but sounds like he had a good game when he came on.  I still don’t think he’s good enough though and hope he is shown the door and replaced.

If he does stay, I’ll get behind him like I do every other player..I just think from what I have seen that he is far from good enough.

Would be huge banter if Bingham was the one signing up front that we make this window.

Could you imagine the reaction from some on here...?

He did, and I criticised him at the time, but he has scored what apparently was a great strike today. Everyone from Sadlier to Taylor to Coppinger have missed great chances in games this season, some that actually meant we didn't win games. Same can't be said for that Bingham chance.

To be fair Alan, Sads had two good chances against Sunderland and he messed up.
All strikers miss chances.

Yes I saw that, he ran about like a headless chicken, but today when he came on he was OK and scored
