Actually not that bad a bench now.

Good keeper
Quality cover across the back four.
Decent cover in central and wide midfield.
Just lacking obvious centre forward cover.

I am praying for a positive result, only because I'm sick of the daily meltdowns

IFollow question: Happy with commentary? I’m fortunate in being overseas so can watch the game, is the commentary I hear the same as that for audio-only in the uk?
If I couldn’t see the game, I’d find the commentary very frustrating. Too much chat,  “punditry” and anecdote, little description of the action. Thankful for the video coverage ....sound muted.

Coventry edging it slightly on overall play.  Maybe we could have closed their scorer down better but it was a decent strike out of Diengs reach..

We need to get our front 3 more into this game.

That should have been a penalty right on half time.

Bloody awful game again. Serious question, and I don’t think I’m a doom monger in any way shape or form, but is anyone entertained by this football on show?

Season ticket holder but only made half the games.

We play a system where we need to play ball on ground and quickly.

It's so ponderous today.    Do we need sadlier more central to help ennis?

I agree,we’ve had one attempt at goal, a long range effort from the full back

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: if the game is crap, but we are winning, then, yes, I find it entertaining! I pay my money to see us win, not to be entertained.

I think “bloody awful” is an exaggeration.

We’re not at our best today but it is only half time and we need to step up a gear.

I guess I imagined the free kick that Taylor had where his shot was straight at the wall.?

Coventry winning every free kick by going down.
No closing down for their goal they sitting ten men behind the ball and hitting us on the counter attack now.

Ref giving us very little Ennis should have had a penalty right on half time plus one just before when he got pulled backwards off the pitch

Very harsh.

It's two very good sides. Both working bloody hard.

We certainly need to do something with the game plan to be more effective up front..

Bingham on for Sadlier..

But in my opinion we’re no better or worse than in the Shrewsbury or Oxford games. We just somehow managed win those 2. We may win this one also. But as entertainment value goes at the moment, it’s just not there.

Agree to differ. There’s no real quality there for me. We’re not good enough for this passing from the back.
