A safety meeting planned today to see if tonight's game will be going ahead?

I wouldn't expect one - it is expected to rain (on and off) all day and the wind speeds (and gusts) are expected to remain pretty constant.  If nothing has fallen off to date - I wouldn't expect it to do so over the coming 12 hours....

*Not that I'm a safety specialist*

So no snow in Doncaster then?
(I'm in Nottingham, and there was about two inches here yesterday, and its not melting)

Now of course I want us to play them and beat them well. But I would actually quite enjoy it being called off at 7.30pm once they’re all in and ready for it.

If that impacted their Club and Players I would agree but - just like us their Fans had no say in the original game being called off just as we had no control over Charlton not wanting to get THE second half played

So I would not want them to have shelled out loads taken days off work and driven through snow on M62 or who knows driven from London etc just to have a laugh at their expense.

I don’t know why Charlton keeps being brought up.  Yes they made little effort to drain that pitch but it wouldn’t have made any difference..

As much as the Bolton saga is frustrating, the best thing that can happen now is for our players to be 100% professional and win the game.

I think people are getting a bit carried away - it wasn’t this game that was cancelled - it was the away fixture.

Christ almighty lighten up a bit, you said there was no chance of it snowing in donny today. It did snow briefly in the Doncaster borough. It was a jokey comment.

Christ almighty back at ya mate.
Mine was a jokey comment too.

I said it isn’t snowing here, you said it is, I said how do you know where I am.

No need to get ratty if you didn’t see the joke there. 👍

Hopefully if you were at the game tonight you will now be well aware that their fan base is largely cretinous and it isn’t ‘the minority’ and it never was.

Awful club, awful fans, awful team. Bloody lovely result though.
