Rovers v Bolton
« on February 11, 2020, 06:32:05 pm by RoversAlias »
Tremendous weather for us attending tonight, so maybe the Lucky Pint is the place to be tonight!

Our match preview can be found here:

https://www.intotheemptynet.com/post/iten-match-preview-bolton-h

And I'll try to put the teams up when they are announced in 15 minutes!

Four changes for Rovers:

ROVERS
Dieng
Halliday
Anderson
Wright
James
Sheaf
Whiteman
Sadlier
Coppinger
Ennis
Okenabirhie

Happy with that personally, we need Sheaf and Copps in to retain the ball tonight and I'm looking forward to seeing what Okenabirhie can do from the start.

BOLTON
Matthews
Emmanuel
Bryan
Hobbs
Fleming
Hamilton
Lowe
L. Murphy
Dodoo
D. Murphy
O'Grady

Perfect team that in my opinion
Gomes looks like he’s paying for the Rochdale goal

And the bench is looking a lot stronger now with a number of different options

You may be right about Gomes, but I'm surprised he's not even on the bench.

Presumably Okenabirhie up front and Ennis part of the forward line behind?

Are we with or against the wind first half?

Doesn’t seem to be that much wind surprisingly.

Wind is going sideways but has died down since just before kick off. Rovers playing well so far, made a few good chances.

Sadlier’s had their left back on toast a few times now. Once straight on Okenabirhie’s head 6 yards out, but he couldn’t get any power or direction on it to trouble the keeper, and another that Ennis should maybe have gambled on that whipped across the 6 yrs box.

Fej missed a good chance. Weak header after a decent cross. Then another good cross all the way across the goalmouth and there’s nobody in to finish it.

Yes Ennis ought to have been in there rather than expecting one if the defenders to clear it.

According to Ian Dowie on Sky Sports, Kieran Sadlier has been “absolutely magnificent.” True?
