What's that?

Bell tolling for McCann?

Not many clubs allow their manager more time after a run of 2 points from 9 matches.

Come on Barnsley get out of the drop.

But I don’t see GM getting the sack who would they get no good Championship players available at the club  to the new manager

Their local radio guy is called Burnsey, always worth a listen when Hull lose...he doesn’t hold back. The Barnsley interview should be a good one!

A pal of mine said to me a few days ago “at least McCann gave us an exciting end to the season last year”.

They are on a shocking run. Losing their best two players in January didn’t help.

When he was first linked with the job I thought it was a poisoned chalice. They  actually over-achieved in the first half of the season but the sales of Grosicki and Bowen have damaged them very seriously.

All managers need good players at their level, he had that here and at the start with Hull.
It was not sustainable to add to that here to improve the squad so when Hull came calling he jumped. We had to rebuild the squad.
He now finds without good Championship players its difficult to win games.

Was it brian clough who said, "the secret to being a good manager is to have good players!"

"For whom the bell tolls " would have been a much better title it is after all "blowing" up in his face   ....could say he's "burned" his bridges with Rovers or should we say "blown them up"  :crying:

now it's the "Eaves" of destruction  Tom Eves is out for the season ,,,,, anyone got Barcelona's phone number....

the club will only get rid if they go down or that is what they more or less said when they got him in

Best scenario game finishes 0-0, 2 red cards each, and about 6 injuries to key players, after a mass brawl, resulting in both teams getting a hefty fine and points deduction.
