Butler’s first defeat
« on March 01, 2020, 07:55:10 pm by BVB »
Belles went down 2-1 at Sporting Khalsa (Walsall).
Belles took an early lead, conceded own goal then the winner after 60-odd minutes.

According to the twitter feed Belles had a host of chances and were unlucky not to score more. 16 year old debutant in goal did well.

Would have been good to get something from a team who are now on same points as Belles, as they have top two visiting next games which will be very tough.
Not the end of the world though - still 7 points above drop zone.

The main thing is, they've turned the corner. Brighter things ahead hopefully.

Bugger. I was hoping for a win. Not a defeat. A win would have made the Belles pretty safe. Now it's finger nails again with the next two fixtures hardly looking like being a source of points.
