To paraphrase Bill Grundy, they were Plymouth blokes writing for Plymouth blokes, so sod impartiality!
I've only seen brief highlights on Quest. It's a fair point about the state of the pitch, although even they accept it wasn't dangerous. But the first red card was nailed on.

Just watched highlights and pitch looks worse than tranmeres,on the sending off 1st one you will see yellows and reds given by different referees as he doesn’t lung in with both feet but can be seen as dangerous and the 2nd is a yellow card

The people that run Plymouth Argyle's online official presence have ridiculously thin skin and are often just obnoxious and blinkered, so this seems about right for them.
