I had seen Space Station earlier at 19:40 - a great viewing

Then later on (maybe about that time) I saw something moving way way up and it was something similar in that there was no noise - and it was not flashing. Then behind it was a second and then a third

As I watched the first one "disappeared" as does the Space Station when at a certain point in the sky. The second went around the same place but then amazingly 2 more came from the same direction as the first 3. I watched each one and they were roughly on the same track and each disappeared after a few minutes

I watched a few more when home (10 minutes - hes an old dog) and there were more and more and looking up on Satellite trackers there were some on that track (there are hundreds) BUT unlike Radar24 I could not look back but maybe somebody will be able to.

Agreed - and although they tracked Air Force 1 that time they probably miss out certain military movements

However these things I saw seemed way way higher (I would say in orbit actually) and due to the lock down there were no vehicles about and a fighter at the upper eaches of its operation WOULD have been heard by me. In fact with at least 3 in view most of the time I would instinctively hve looked up

At one stage later I saw 2 one on the S-N track and one parallel to it but a bit behind - and one disappeared (no longer lit by the sun) and then the other did the same but much later - meaning I think it was even higher so relected the Sun for longer

But .... I am no expert and I would like further info as well please - in particular can I get a Satellite tracking site on which I could back track to last night ? I will research as well and maybe find one

Im back and manage to find this and back track

IMO these were Satellites and I think this Site "backs that up".

https://in-the-sky.org/satpasses.php?day=27&month=3&year=2020&mag=500&anysat=v0&group=1&s=

Point one. Just look at the numbers of things that are whizzing overhead all day (and night) and  how many passes just scroll down the list. It is not endless !

Point two. Scroll down to the time mentioned in OP and look for the objects on a northerly or NE or NW direction and hopefully you can see lots of them.

Just checked out what was visible (it was an optimum night apparantly for viewing) and there were FORTY objects reflecting the Sun passed on the Tracks I mentioned above starting 20.00.00 to 25.00.00 - so yes forty things in just 5 minutes !

Point three. If you have never seen the Space Station get out at just before 25 past 8 tonight and you will see it "appear" in the west at 20.30.01 H/M/Secs and disappear (which I never tire of seeing) at 20.33.41
Thats 3 minutes and 40 and its an amber event so quite bright - whereas the last 2  ights have been Green for really good

Look west and watch for something going 17000 mph without any noise or any flashing lights just "appearing" and keep looking as it will climb steadily before disappearing just after it passes overhead

Donny Airport is taking loads of Planes and Parking them up but of course they would be way way lower than I saw and be noisy and maybe contrailing

For those who like Planes and are going shopping (AHEM) to the local store at Finno or The Farm Shop on B1396 to Westwoodside there are already stacks there (so I am told) including Virgins x 3 and Wizz Airs x 12 and various other stuff. They may be getting added to but with wind change they will come in over Bawtry way so I cant update more than that

Do you have an iPad or tablet John.
There are quite a few apps that when pointed at the sky show all stars planets and constellations above you wherever in the world you are. Some also show all satellites as well.
Apologies if you already knew this.

There were about 15 small planes flew over Brid on Sunday afternoon, they were flying south in a line about a
1/4 of a mile apart.I think they were single engine planes.

Work with radar, unless it's a raw feed anything can be filtered out.

When I looked on the app there were a load of satellites scattered behind the ISS. I think that we forget just how many things are in orbit up there.

Yes - I stuck in my long reply #9 that there were actually 40 going in Northerly directions (NNW etc) and as many going to other points of the Compass in just 5 minutes at the time in question (20.20 last night)

Was outside looking Wolfie, from 8.53 to 9.03 but didn’t see anything.
Possibly partly due to a bloody big cloud that was forming due North I suppose.
But directly above me and gradually looking South (to see If whatever I was looking for went over me and away) I saw nothing in a totally clear sky.
What should I have seen and did anyone see anything?

Took the kids out for an exercise walk tonight and we saw these. Quite breathtaking site. Like slow, tiny tracer bullets across the sky.
