Absolutely breathtaking. Am I colour blind, or was there a red tint around the edges?

.... with the Lyrid Meteor shower 50 degrees (ish) in the north east as a sideshow as well

Tomorrow and Weds night will be prime time for the Meteors though

Last night was spectacular. I think there must have been a bit of haze round the horizon and cut the sunlight tonight.

I saw the Meteors in the Leeds Bierkeller in 1984 I think it was..  not the same shower as you’re discussing though.!

Just two for me too, I'll keep looking. Got a few meteorites though.

Only saw two. Tonight around 2101 there should be a long stream of them coming from west to east.

We only saw two as well. It was very cold here as well. The grandkids might have had a better view as they can see right across the Aire valley and less light pollution. We'll have another go tonight.

I got to 4 (Elon Musk Satellites) then called it a wrap beacuse it was b****y cold and when you have seen them before there is less appeal

I wouldnt have minded seeing a few Shooting Stars in the Lyrid event but thought the best is supposed to be tonight / tomorrow night so Im off on for a warm

Went out for 5 minutes at 21.01. Saw nothing. Came back in as it was too cold.

Not really dark enough at 9.01 tonight.
Try again at 10.36 and also, if you can stand the chill, there will be loads of shooting stars.

We saw 31 of them. Mostly they were evenly spaced apart, but 2 were quite close together.  They seemed to be in 2 batches with a couple of stragglers at the end.

Yep saw loads, couple got some great flashes of sunlight reflecting. Also spotted the two close together which deviated too.
