I'm developing this. We could come up with a new lingo akin to the Cockney Slang, primarily to fool the little lady. ('Er indoors, she that must be obeyed etc.)

She wants to go shopping, we, in our clever way suggest that the male of the species ought to go to The Amputated Eskimo to check out the Jam Sponge Price.

She, sensing that we've lost it, are drunk, or plain simple (or all three) grudgingly agrees and we're away, job done. If we're playing one of Mr Warnock's teams we can slip that in the mix.

I might be on to something.
