For anyone who likes playing with maps the National library of Scotland has this clever tool for overlaying various historical maps onto present day ones.

And there's also 'Britain from above' showing images from the Aerofilms collection from 1919 to 2006 including a 1935 shot of Belle Vue and Doncaster Airport.

Brilliant. Just found a picture of the farm where our house now stands. It's built on where the barn was!
