Harrogate may not be walking distance but I find it intriguing when there is a new club in the EFL.  Going to watch them is fine, specially if they have to play on our doorstep.

Sadly I doubt we will get the opportunity.

Probably not surprising being owned by a company based next to the stadium, definitely some links there. Be interesting to see if they can survive financially at that level.

Surely this must represent an income stream to DRFC, if only in terms of day hire of the stadium therefore good news for the club?

Don't underestimate the importance of this, with all clubs facing no crowd's for the first month at least, Any income is gold dust!!

I said the same on another thread.
Irving Weaver and TB are friends from way back.
Hopefully we should do well out of this.

I think that's probably a stretch! Other than selling advertising around the pitch i suppose.

It's a pity that TB couldn't get his friend on board to invest in Rovers. Too late now as IW obviously has his own project which is going well.

I think the funding required here is a little larger than there.

I think that would be right.
But if we can get 3 or 4 local businessmen chipping in what they can afford (250k a year?) then that's got to be the way forward.
Not too many people with the wealth of TB floating about in Donny.

I believe it is, think he made his professional debut with us while on loan.

Maybe a certain Harrogate resident gave them the opportunity to play at the KMS

True, but I know three who won’t be far behind him.
