Looks the business to me yesterday, and posed Blackburn trouble, if he keeps that up we want to be looking at a longer contract for the lad.

Pleased someone agrees with me Brian. Yes he wasn’t perfect yesterday. Certainly plenty more to come from him, but he showed to me what a threat he can and surely will be to league 1 defences this season. He has got loads of ability, pace, trickery and and an eye for goal.

Looks like the type of player who will try and beat the same player five times in the same move, though hopefully experience will get that out of him.

As long as the 5 times are all separate attacking situations he will be a major asset.

Like alot of wingers needs to look up at the vital moments to pick someone out. Ironic the cross which led to Gomes goal was a good cross but to nobody in particular. Other than that he has great pace and you wouldn't know which way he's going to turn you.

Unless moaners get on back as one or two indications have threatened
this lad could be the perfect wingman to benefit from the way Richards can split defences  from midfield passes like yesterday .

I'm sure that Copps will be giving him a few suggestions both in training and during matches. He already seems to look up to Copps.

Richards played out of position yesterday, so goodness knows what he’ll be like in his more customary attacking midfield area.

With Lokilo, I mentioned some time ago about how well the lad played in an U23 game last season. He certainly has something, that’s for sure.

Some very picky observers on here, he was running at a decent Championship defence caused them loads of trouble and in the first half ran onto a ball and got away from the defenders to get a shot in on target on the run at pace.
Nothing wrong with any of that, and showed for the ball wanting it from other players, in only his second first team game it is impressive and with experience can only get better.
It's a very well done from me anyway.

Not because of who he is but the younger players will from Copps, just like any one who goes into a new place of work it’s always best to learn from the old hands, football in that respect is no different from work in a factory or on a production line

I think you need to realise that whilst some people might have a moan on here, very few actually shout abuse or criticism at players when at the KMS

One tosser in particular abuses virtually every player - and fan - he lays eyes upon. Loud mouthed prick, he is.

Think you need to go and get your ears syringed EfD, there are quite a few so called fans who like to give out to players at games.

People will always give shit to players no matter who they support, people have different ways of showing emotions, it might not be the best way but it’s the same at every club

Don't hear any of it in the West stand. Maybe it's mostly in the south stand amongst the idiots who cause trouble at away games too.  :chair: :chair:

Some of it is from that group E4D but I hear plenty from older people too.

You know what IDM, after I posted I thought someone might say that and I considered changing the post to say “pensioners”.
I don’t particularly think of people in their fifties as being old.

The daft thing is hound that as you age you don't seem to think that you are old. I still offer my seat on the bus and talk about old people. I then realise I'm nearly 72 and a lot of these OLD PEOPLE are younger than me.

I have also seen them at times flooding out like a waterfall when things have gone badly. I remember Swansea at home when we weren't playing too badly and lost rather harshly 0-4. Loads couldn't get out quick enough.
The remnants of the South Stand did get behind us as did some of us in the west stand. Fans are sometimes no less fervent because just they don't sing. I've know some over the decades very vocal and just as fickle.

Idler, I was there for that Swansea game, and yes, as you say people were leaving in droves, but I believe they were leaving in utter disappointment rather than anger (not that you said anger, just my opinion), as Swansea gave us a right footballing lesson that day. I have to say, I hadn't seen a team rip us apart so comprehensively, in a truly excellent exhibition of damn good football. I just had to tip my hat at Swansea that day, and wished that we could play like that.
