A great gesture from the club:

Rovers will donate £10 from every 2020/21 home shirt sold between September 11 and Christmas to Gemma Lee, the wife of former Rovers captain Graeme Lee.

Just read that it goes to show that there is more to life than football, but our club can positively impact life’s. Well done Rovers and keep fighting Mrs Spike

I didn't know anything about Mrs. Lee's condition until this.
My heart goes out to Spike and his family.

Wonderful gesture by the club.

£10 donated

God that is awful news. And as said in here, another reason to be proud of our club.

I don't buy shirts but have made a direct donation. This club just gets better every day. Feeling very proud to be a part of this footballing family that is DRFC. I love this club. Sending best wishes to the Lee family at this time.

Really sad to hear this news.

My stepson was living with them in 1991 & 1992 when he was playing at Middlesbrough.
Graeme aged 14 was two years younger than Neil but was same age as Graeme’s older brother Anthony aged 16.

Anthony is just recovering from Cancer as well and from what Neil has told me i understand their Dad Tony has Dementia.
So all in all it has been an awful few years for the family.

This is a wonderful gesture by Rovers and very deserving. Graeme was a top player for us, a great role model and a hero that day at Cardiff.

My very best wishes go to all his family.

Done. Up to nearly £65,000 now so it gives a few months treatment.

A naive question but do we know if Sheffield Wednesday & Middlesbrough fans are aware of the fundraising site?
