Good grief

Another game another loser lined up. I will take my traditional look back as Boyeson is close to being the worst Ref consistently.
Probably the last time he had us - with the Sunderland Centre Back catching a ball over his head on Half way line https://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?topic=275315.msg933448#msg933448
One game Boyeson got 28 x NIL votes - he is terrible

Maybe he’s a changed man after lockdown John, I’ll not hold my breath however - he’s up there with the worst of the worst

Sometimes they need help. At the risk of being a broken record we could do with a Ref in each half so that Ref needs to do 25 yards between Goal Line and Half way to keep up with the young speed machines

Some would argue that there IS already a Ref in each half (Refs assistant) but quite often they are not allowed to comment on anything as we have seen in the past. If we had an extra Ref there would be in effect 2 Refs in each half - a bit American Footy style. If it improves what goes off I would be in favour

Imagine have a complete fool in one half booking players for nothing but a very good ref in the other.
Numpty books a player for a nothing challenge and then the good ref has to book the same player for an obvious yellow in the other and a2nd yellow equals red.
It wouldn't be fair, and I'm sure players would try to play one off against the other.

2 - and 1 of them was for Yellow Carding Garner

At least that proved consistent - dissent - Yellow

Mind you kicking ball away with 5 mins to go should have been too

Lots of baffling decisions.
To quick to stop play and give us a free kick in the first half when JJ had got one on one.

Bit of a homer for me, not good but not awful for a change

Fell for it every time Garner backed into a centre-back and threw himself on the floor.
He's been much worse but is still a truly dreadful excuse for a match official and he has no concept of the advantage rule.
