Article from 2 days ago. We seem to be in advanced stages with 3 loans for young players - Ennis, Sims and Smith. Can't believe we will have all three and thus 7 loan players.

Liam Hoden I'm sure said earlier today that we'd not be signing Ennis.

I'd love to see him back personally.

Certainly won't disagree with that, but IMHO Smith would be the best fit for us at the moment, plus either of the other two.

Then Sims seems to be not wanted at Southampton and if that works out a permanent would seem more likely than with Ennis.

I have no information, just complete guessing.

Maybe Ennis could be on a permanent similar to the John deal

The way Gavin was talking the other day, there's nothing left in the budget to finance any more permanent deals.

I'm fully expecting 2 loans tomorrow.

With the developments over the last few days though, some money could soon be on its way from the premier league

That money would be to help clubs survive, not use in the transfer market

I liked Ennis, but after all we have John-Jules, Okenabirhie, Gomes, Tulloch, Taylor and Lokilo who are all capable of scoring, as well as Ben and others chipping in. We have a good strike force, so long as we are not trying to walk it in. Ask Bristol Rovers.

Agree with that BR.

I haven’t seen much of John-Jules yet but I’ve seen enough to believe he’s better than Ennis.

No worries from me. Good luck Niall.

Did we really need Ennis back?

Good player but it wouldve been another loanee we can't fit in the squad and would've probably (harshly) pushed Fejiri down the pecking order.
