How the hell is Bursik the England U21 goalkeeper?

He isn't, he's 2nd/3rd choice.

I wasn't impressed with him at all today but it's the first time I'm saying that. We were spoiled by Dieng last season, and were never going to find someone else as good as him to come in in my opinion.

No doubt I will get slated but I would give Louis Jones a run of games.

I won't be slating you, because I understand why anyone might want to see Jones brought in.

I think we learned with Etheridge though that dropping a keeper every time he has a bad game can have a really detrimental effect on the player and then the goalkeeper situation becomes very difficult. For me, Bursik should keep his place unless he goes on a run of wretched displays.

It worked with Dieng last season who didn't start as No1 keeper.
