Rovers vs the Alex
« on October 24, 2020, 01:37:52 pm by IDM »
Managed to wangle the afternoon off work so I’ve paid my tenner and will be watching this one on ifollow at home.

I wonder if and how DM will swap a few players around as I suspect he might, but he could surprise us with the same team which gave Ipswich a lesson on Tuesday.

What we can’t do is be complacent about this match, we mustn’t expect this to be easy.

This is when the ruthlessness should kick in. Treat Crewe with exactly the same respect and maintain that desire to beat your opponent. They stand in the way of what we want to achieve.

Hopefully it's just a slight injury that's just not getting risked due to us having the strength in depth and with number of games coming up.

Well, both James and John score in games they've both started and... They get 'rotated'. Going to use that term from now on as 'dropped' seems too harsh!

Carry on where we left off please!

Enjoy the afternoon off IDM.
No way will we expect the game to be easy.
The lads will be just as focussed as they were on Tuesday.
Players can’t wait for the next game when the results are good and I expect another top performance from us today.
Crewe will make it hard for us but I think we will have too much firepower for them.

DM again showing that no one is guaranteed a place in the team.
Cam John had his best performance for us against Ipswich but is replaced by Reece James (who was left out last game after having a MoM performance in the previous match).

With so many game is such a short space of time, expect to see many changes over the next few games.

Great for DM to have good options.  Crewe will be well up for this,  I'm sure,, so got too carry on where left off at Ipswich.

Started well. Pressing from the front again.

Crewe are one of those I have a soft spot for. Always look to play the game the right way.

We can't get any luck with wingers this season can we? Taylor off injured, hope he isn't gone too long.

Lokilo on. Crewe so close to taking the lead but Anderson blocks one on the line that was straight at him.

Open game, Crewe playing good football and should be one up, but for a goal line block by Anderson..
