The good news was when this bas**rd was caught and banged up forever.

It was always certain he would die in custody, and certainly he won’t be missed.

When Sutcliffe was operating, I lived in a flat on Park Road in town with my girlfriend.
I used to talk on the street to this very pretty lass whenever we bumped into her. She lived on Broxholme Lane and I  later found out she was a working girl.
She was whacked on the head soon afterwards but managed to get herself home and later died.
The police came round twice to interview me as I'd been seen talking to her and wore similar clothes to the attacker ie denim jacket and jeans.

Luckily for me I was at a concert in Manchester on the night it happened.

Anyway this girl was never included in Sutcliffe's attacks as far as I know, though a book about Sutcliffe does mention her.

My mate lived close to Sutcliffe and having heard the description of him and his car actually followed him to his house. The police were called but nothing came of it. This was early on in his murder spree.
