New Party

Just for a bit of fun to help us through the next month or two before the vaccinations return us back to some form of normality, if we were to start a Viking political party to fight the next general election, and you wanted a knowledgeable, articulate, honest, no-nonsense voice of reason to lead it, who would you have as my deputy leader?

BB, don’t you think it would be more appropriate to appoint a senior advisor first, you know, so you didn’t have do anything or make any decisions.

Mad Mick, or maybe Carling. They’ve both done the wilderness years now.

Good idea Hound, who would you suggest? Is that a personal application?

'We are on the brink of a new era, if only...'

Ten points for anyone who knows which TV drama that political quote is from.

As someone regularly accused of talking b*llocks, not answering the question or knowing how to debate sensibly, I would like to be considered as your No 2 please, Bentley. And I wouldn’t mind shagging my secretary, either.

I don't mind with anyone's secretary.

Mmm. I was thinking of making Scawsby Steve the deputy's secretary.

This is where you and I differ, Al.
You’re just too picky.

All because I said "I'll be f*cked if I'm joining BB's new Party".

Actually, I'm suggesting Wolfie as Party Treasurer. Anyone with the amount of mothballs in his wallet that he has must be shrewd with finances.

I wouldn't dream of calling the party BB's party. It's the party for everyone. It is The 'British Bulldog' party.

Or BB party for short!
